What it is
Lacquered aluminium is one of Signmax's most popular and reliable sign materials it is a lightweight, rigid metal material with a white lacquered surface on one side. Both sides surface is optimised for direct UV printing, giving sharp colours, clear details, and a stable result that holds up well over time.
The material has high corrosion resistance and handles weather, moisture, and sunlight without warping or fading easily. A matte UV laminate is applied as standard to protect the print and extend outdoor durability.

Custom options
Most custom requests fall outside the standard assortment and must be handled manually. A minimum order value of SEK 5,000 applies to all custom options, as they require a non-standard production flow.
Always confirm custom options with production before quoting — never estimate prices for custom requests without checking complexity and manufacturing time first.

Common use cases
- Outdoor signage — handles rain, wind, and sunlight without warping or fading. Good for facade signs, entrance signs, and outdoor directional signs.
- Company and building signs — used for reception signs, office nameplates, door signs, and exterior branding. The matte or reflective finish gives a clean, professional look.
- Industrial signage — suitable for warehouses, factories, and construction sites. Resists corrosion and physical wear in rough conditions.
- Information and safety signs — good for permanent information signs, warning signs, and regulatory signage where the sign needs to stay legible for a long time.
- Directional signage — works well for wayfinding both indoors and outdoors. The rigid material keeps signs flat and readable even at larger sizes.
Sustainability
Made from 75% recycled aluminium from Norway. CO2e is 12.17 kg per m² — lower than virgin aluminium due to the high recycled content. Designed to last 7–10 years outdoors, which means fewer replacements and lower total environmental impact.
