What it is

Posters, also called prints, are one of Signmax's lightweight printed sign materials. They are designed for temporary communication and promotional use. Posters are for indoor use only.

When to recommend it

Good fit when the customer needs:

  • Cost-effective signage
  • Temporary or campaign signage
  • Event or retail signage
  • Large-format prints
  • Indoor advertising

Not a good fit when the customer needs:

  • Long-term outdoor signage → recommend Banner, Solid PET, or Aluminium
  • Rigid signage → recommend Foam PVC, Aluminium, or Acrylic
  • Heavy-duty or weather-resistant signage → recommend Aluminium or Solid PET

Posters are lightweight and flexible. They are easy to transport and install, and available in large formats. The digital print gives full-colour results across the full size range. Because the material is paper-based, it is not suited for long-term outdoor use or environments with high moisture exposure.

Common use cases

  • Advertising and campaigns — cost-effective for short-term campaigns and promotions. Easy to produce in volume and replace when the campaign ends.
     
  • Event signage — lightweight and easy to transport and install on-site. Works well for temporary directional signs, information boards, and stage backdrops.
     
  • Retail signage — commonly used for in-store promotions, product displays, and seasonal campaigns where signage is changed regularly.
     
  • Indoor advertising — suitable for office environments, reception areas, and public spaces where signage is kept indoors and replaced periodically.
     
  • Informational signage — good for temporary notices, menus, schedules, and other content that changes frequently.
