Delivery Time — How It Is Calculated

Internal · Updated June 2026

What this article covers

How delivery time is calculated for all order types. Delivery time always consists of two parts: manufacturing time and shipping time. Manufacturing time depends on the material and order specifications. Shipping time depends on the delivery country and shipping method.

Quick reference — order types

Order typeDelivery time
Standard orderFastest and most predictable — see country-specific delivery time article
Custom orderAlways add 2 extra days - May require additional production time — confirmed individually
Large order / B2BDepends on volume and complexity — confirmed in the Quote Template
Urgent orderFaster options may be available — use Prioritized Manufacturing Service or check with production

Standard orders

Standard orders follow the options available on the website. These have the fastest and most predictable delivery times. For specific delivery times by country and material, see the relevant country delivery time article.

Custom orders

Orders with specifications outside the standard assortment may require additional production time. This includes:

  • Custom sizes
  • Non-standard colours
  • Special fixing options
  • Large quantities

Delivery time for custom orders is confirmed individually — do not give a standard estimate without checking first.

Large orders / B2B

For larger or business orders, delivery time may increase depending on volume and complexity. Delivery time is confirmed in the quote — do not estimate without checking with production.

Urgent orders

Faster production or shipping may be possible depending on current capacity. See the Prioritized Manufacturing section in the relevant country delivery time article for available options. If unclear, check with production before confirming anything to the customer.

Instructions for agents

  • If the order is custom — explain that delivery time may be longer and confirm individually.
  • If the order is urgent — check available options before confirming faster delivery.
  • If anything is unclear — ask for more details before giving an estimate.
